Singer Zlatan Laments Plus Accuses The Nigerian Government Of Not Doing Anything About Hardship

Popular singer Zlatan Ibile has accused the Nigerian government of not doing enough to tackle the economic hardship in the country.

He lamented that due to lack of government’s action, the Nigerian society was now adjusting to hardship as a norm.

Zlatan expressed serious concerns about the hardship in Nigeria while addressing British rapper Dave’s satire of Nigeria’s flamboyant clubbers and the impoverished beggers outside the club, in a recent interview with Madame Joyce in the UK.

"We are used to it [suffering and smiling], that’s how it has always been and the government isn’t doing anything about it,” he lamented.

The rapper added that regrettably, some of the beggers in the country have made begging their career and have refused to go into productive ventures despite receiving alms from generous Nigerians, including artists, on daily basis.

He also lamented about the entitlement of some of beggers, describing it as “annoying.”

Zlatan urged street beggers to engage in productive and dignified ventures as a lasting solution to their financial struggles.

Actress Regina Daniels Opens A Can Of Worms On Her Marriage To Estranged Senator Husband Ned Nwoko

Actress Regina Daniels has alleged that she was always beaten up, injected, locked up and s#xually violated by her estranged Senator husband, Ned Nwoko amid marital debacle between the two that has gone out of control with arrests becoming the in-thing.

Recall that she recently cried out about her brother's orchestrated arrest by the Delta politician and all being done to release him has been abortive as at the time of filing this report. Regina is still claiming domestic violence whilst the ex-husband is maintaining that the actress' drug and alcohol use was the root cause of their marital problems.

She wrote on Instagram: "I give up! What was my brother’s offense? Fighting for his baby sister because his in-law would always beat her up? I actually accorded the Nigerian police some respect but shame on you all!!! It’s obvious the highest bidder always wins. Now I’m crippled! I will return if that’s the only way, do whatever he says, get injected to be like a zombie, get locked up and r*ped in the house. Only then will my brother return. Because by law, there is no tangible case against sammywest! Ned Nwoko is bigger than the whole of Nigeria that’s what this means. We lost or rather I lost!"

Goodness gracious! This is debilitating, disturbing, unbelievably sad, and gross to say the least.

Singer Angelique Kidjo Says She Doesn't Make Political Music

Popular Beninese singer Angelique Kidjo has shared her opinion on musicians using their music to praise or promote politicians and political parties..

“My father always used to say to us, especially to me as a singer, do not write music for any political party because they come and they go, and once they’re gone, you go with it.

“Write your music with your opinions, be free writing your music. Don’t be sold to somebody because therefore, you don’t become the voice of the people anymore, you become the voice of the power. And when that power shifted, you’re off the window,” she recalled.

Singer Waje Reveals Why She Can't Marry A Poor Man

Popular Nigerian singer, Aituaje Iruobe, known as Waje, has revealed one or two about her preferences when it pertains to the choice of a life partner.

“I can’t marry someone who is not successful, and here’s why: first of all, I’m not in my 20s so we are not growing together,” she said.

“A man leads, he leads by selling aspirations to me. I have to aspire to see him lead. And if he can’t inspire me to grow, we can’t be partners. So, success is part of it. Faith and emotional intelligence are also part of it."

She furthermore reveals about dating a younger man by saying: “We will have issues. I’m very pragmatic. I sometimes I have to hold myself with my siblings, my friends, and my family members. Imagine if it was a husband? He would get tired. I will be treating him like my child. He would hate me."

Senator Ned Nwoko Allegedly Arrests Regina Daniels’ Brother Plus Sister

Senator Ned Nwoko has allegedly ordered the arrest of the siblings of his fourth actress wife, Regina Daniels.

This comes days after actress Regina Daniels allegedly filed for divorce, accusing him of domestic violence.
In response to the allegation, Nwoko accused Regina of substance abuse.

However, calling out the senator amid the messy marital crisis on Monday, Regina disclosed that her elder brother and sister had been arrested.

While appealing to the general public for urgent help, the 24-year-old, in a series of posts on her Instagram page, attributed her siblings’ arrest and detention to an alleged attempt by her husband to force her into a rehabilitation centre.

“Someone please, help me! I feel like I’m losing my mind. I never thought I would do this, but my big brother and big sister have been arrested. My baby sister might be arrested as well until I return and, according to him, return to rehab. Don’t even get me started on telling the world what you did to me with your stupid rehab talk,” Daniels wrote on her Instagram story.

“You said I’m a drug addict. What other name can you call me? A prostitute? Must things go completely south if partners are no longer interested?”
