Rapper T.I Explains Why He Doesn't Go To Church
American rapper Clifford Joseph Harris, Jr., popularly known as T.I, has explained why he does not go to church despite being a Christian.
The Alanta star said he was raised in a Christian household and believes in the “realness” of God, but the church, to him, is a business.
Speaking in a recent interview with Gospel musician Kirk Franklin, T.I accused Christian clergy of “twisting” the Bible and exploiting their congregations.
“I have never been a church person. I grew up in a strong Christian household. My grandma and auntie were very strong in prayer. So, I know how to pray and I know the word. And I know God is real, I’ve seen his presence and his hands in my life. But I have never felt the connection with the church,” he said.
“To be honest, I don’t think the church is real. I think it’s a business. It’s like a show. It’s like public-speaking, like TED talk. And sometimes, the clergies try to twist the word of God to benefit them.”
T.I also said that he doesn’t believe that he needs to pay tithe or make any financial commitment to a church before God could bless him.
“Y’all telling me.. I gotta pay this joker.. for my God to hear my prayer ??? Mehn I’m outta here,” the rapper said.
He added that he doesn’t believe there needs to be a middleman in his relationship with God in the form of a clergy.

Music Producer Samklef Claims Singer Davido Brought Toxicity And Rivalry To Nigerian Music Industry
Record producer, Samklef has accused singer, Davido of spearheading toxicity and rivalry in the Nigerian music industry.
He made the claim while reacting to a tweet by fellow producer-turned-singer Pheelz, expressing concern over the toxicity and comparisons in the Nigerian music industry.
“Music was meant to be enjoyed, not to be compared. This comparison game is hurting the sound and culture more than we can ever know,” Pheelz wrote.
Reacting, Samklef claimed that there was mutual respect in the Nigerian music industry when Wizkid and Olamide held sway as the young stars until Davido joined them.
He claimed that with Davido’s entry came toxicity, “cultist mindset,” threats and streaming fraud.
Samklef said that the music industry wasn’t supposed to be competitive or a rivalry ground.
He wrote, “Music was fun when we started. When Wizkid came, there was no comparison—everything was pure love.
“Olamide came too, same thing. No pressure, no hatred, just music.
“Then one Scorpio boy who moves like diddy..Davido entered, and since then the industry turned toxic.
“Cultist mindset, threats, fake streams, dirty moves everywhere.”
His submission sparked mixed reactions, with many berating him for singling Davido for blame for the decadence in the music industry.
Meanwhile, Davido is yet to react to Samklef’s allegations.

Actress Tonto Dike Reveals She Started Smoking At 13 Plus Battled Addictions For 27 Years
Nollywood star, Tonto Dike has revealed that she started smoking at the age of 13 and struggled with the addiction for 27 years.
The actress, who disclosed this while sharing a testimony during a Sunday service at Streams of Joy International Church, also shared that she struggled with alcohol addiction, masturbation and prolonged anger issues.
Describing her addictions as “demonic oppression,” Dikeh attributed her freedom from the addictions to divine intervention, stressing that she started noticing changes after her spiritual life improved.
“I smoked since I was 13. God healed me from masturbation, too. I have known myself to have sexual intercourse in the dream ever since I was a child,” the actress said.
She explained that she got addicted to smoking because her father was a smoker. She urged parents not to expose their children to harmful habits.
The 40-year-old said God also recently healed her from “demonic anger,” which she said previously affected her relationships and personal life.
After the actress’ testimony, the founder of Pastor Jerry Eze prayed for her, declaring that “the burden of sin is broken” and describing her as “a voice in her generation.”

One Minute Of S#x Enough For Me – Content Creator Honeypot
Nollywood actress and digital content creator, Onwuson Faith Ifeoma, popularly known as Honeypot, has stated that she does not require long hours of s#xual activity to feel satisfied.
The social media personality, known for her erotic and relationship-themed content, made the disclosure while appearing on The Honest Bunch Podcast.
During the conversation, Honeypot spoke on societal norms within Igbo culture, stressing that a man’s success is often measured by how well his wife is cared for.
According to her, outward appearances can be deceptive, but a man’s financial standing is reflected in the wellbeing of his spouse. She said: “In igbo land you can see a man walking around in shorts, but if you want to know if he is rich look at his wife. That’s not stupidity.
A man’s money should reflect on the woman. It shows the man is doing well. The fact that she has a job or work doesn’t mean she is not supposed to be taken care of.”
She also shared her views on intimacy, noting that affection goes beyond sexual intercourse alone.
Honeypot sees physical closeness as an important expression of love, explaining: “There is kissing, there is cuddling and there is biting. You bite everywhere. Biting is a form of affection.”
When asked to choose between a wealthy man with a protruding belly who lacks s#xual skills and a physically fit man with strong bedroom performance, the actress maintained that s#x is not a major priority for her.
Emphasising her stance, she stated: “I am not a s#x person.
“I can stay months, with my full chest. That is why when I come out and say don’t come into my DM I don’t do hookups.
“I can say it with my full chest because nobody can come out and say I have paid you for s#x. One minute of s#x is enough for me. When you are done, come down from my body.”

“It’s so cold it feels like the city is actively trying to unalive my motivation. It’s the kind of cold that makes you realize happiness was just a summer hallucination, and I can’t stop the tiny voice at the back of my mind sarcastically saying, ‘Who sent you work?'”
Ayra Starr added that she would have been enjoying Detty December with her fellow citizens in Nigeria but she is stuck in the cold and loneliness of New York because she took a rebellious risk.
The ‘Rush’ crooner said she is now in her “nobody gets me era,” stressing that she no longer cares about proving herself to others.
