My Marriage Ended Amicably – Comedian Sabinus Confirms Split From Wife





Popular Nigerian comedian, Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, more popular as Sabinus, has confirmed the end of his marriage to Ciana Chapman.


Sabinus revealed this while speaking during a recent TikTok live stream.

According to him, the union which was formalized in 2023 ended amicably.


Sabinus insisted that he and his ex-wife remain on good terms and continue to prioritise the well-being of their daughter.

Addressing circulating rumours about marital issues, including allegations of domestic violence and infidelity, Sabinus said, “I’m not married.


“My marriage ended peacefully. The mum and I are good. My daughter is okay, and she is doing fine.”

The confirmation follows months of speculation about the comedian’s marital status, despite previous denials by both parties.

Singer Bella Shmurda Reveals Why He Made Song For Yahoo Boys





Nigerian singer Bella Shmurda has revealed that he made his hit song Cash App for internet fraudsters, otherwise known as Yahoo boys... 

The host asked: “What inspired Cash App? Were you doing Yahoo?”

Shmurda replied: “It is Yahoo in the sense that they [Yahoo boys] have to dance. These people that are hustling, you have to make them happy. Because internet fraud is stressful. It has a lot of challenges.

“The truth is, when it comes to inspiration, you don’t have any story behind it. It is natural, it just comes. It is God-given. So, Cash App is divine.”

'I Have Achieved Beyond My Dreams’ – Singer Tems





Nigerian singer, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has said she has achieved more than her targets in the music industry.

The Love Me Jeje crooner disclosed this during a recent interactive session with fans on X.

A fan asked: “What are you currently looking forward to? Also would you say you’ve achieved all of your dreams prior to stardom?”

Tems replied: “I’m looking forward to whatever the Lord has in store and honestly I’ve achieved beyond my dreams from when I had a 9-5.”
Tems launched her music career after quitting her job as a digital marketer in January 2018. Later that year, she released her debut single, ‘Mr Rabel,’ which gained some traction in the media.

However, she rose to prominence after being featured on Wizkid’s 2020 single ‘Essence’, which peaked at number 9 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart following the release of the remix version with Justin Bieber.

In a 2023, she became the first female Afrobeats artist to win a Grammy after her collaboration with Future and Drake, ‘Wait For U’ won the Best Melodic Rap Performance at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards.

In 2025, Tems won the Grammy Award for Best African Music Performance, becoming the only Nigerian artist with multiple Grammys.

She also earned Oscar and Golden Globe nominations for co-writting Rihanna’s ‘Lift Me Up.’

Comedian Sabinus Reveals His Father Regretted Funding His Education After He Became Skit Maker



Nigerian comedian, Emmanuel Ejekwu, popularly known as Sabinus, has revealed that his father didn’t initially support his decision to become a comedian.. 

Sabinus said, “At first, my dad never wanted me to be what I am today, he wanted me to be a lawyer. I tried my best but I couldn’t secure a law admission. So, I had to settle for Linguistics and Communication Studies at Uniport.

“It was on the campus that I saw skit making and I decided to try it out. Money wasn’t coming.

“After I graduated, my dad never knew I was a comedian because I was hiding it. It was one more year after school that he started seeing me on comedy show posters. My sisters confirmed to him that I was into comedy. He was very furious. He fumed, ‘Which comedy? Stupid business. Look at the boy I sent to become a lawyer.'”

Musician 2Face Reveals His First Son Nino Not Interested In Taking After Him



Legendary Nigerian musician, Innocent Idibia, popular known 2Face, has revealed that his first son, Nino, isn’t interested taking after him by becoming a musician.

Despite Nino being a talented sax player, his father revealed that his ambition is to become a medical doctor.

The African Queen crooner disclosed this while bringing Nino on stage at an event in Abuja, marking his 25 years in music industry.

“Making some noise for my son Nino, mehn,” he tells the crowd as he brings the lad on stage.

“He said he doesn’t want to be a singer. He wants to be a doctor,” he added amid cheers from the crowd.

2Face’s first son, Nino Idibia, was born on January 15, 2006, to him and his former baby mama, Sumbo Adeoye.

Nino is a saxophonist, a model and social media influencer.

Children following their parents’ footsteps is a common phenomenon in the Nigerian music industry.

Wizkid’s first son, Boluwatife Balogun recently launched his musical career at the age of 14 with his debut EP ‘Champions’ Arrival’ under the stage name, Champz.

Grammy winning Nigerian music star, Tems, has disclosed what she loves about her colleague, Wizkid.

She made this known during a question and answer session with her fans on X.

A fan @Gbolaha_n9 had asked her one thing she loves most about Wizkid who is her biggest collaborator in the industry.

“One thing you love about BigWiz?”

In response, the songstress stated that she loves Wizkid’s kind heart and his incredible work ethic.
